Antique oval abalone shell brooch with concentric inlay. Medium sized oval brooch with 3 pieces of abalone inlayed, I've seen this mentioned as a nipple pattern and can see the slight resemblance, although it is definitely not blatant.
Beautifully shimmering and iridescent shell and a slightly convex form. I believe this brooch is of antique age, pre 1930s. It has a lovely brass pin with a tube hinge and hook clasp Fantastic antique condition.
